We have all been there. Starting out just as a mere Baby bat in the genre- not knowing what to really do. I get it. Being a baby bat is a tough ball game. There will always be elder Goths who won’t accept you because they have their own idea of this subculture is a purist. Well, screw them. Baby bats matter as much as elder Goths. This is why I made a list of my favorite outfit combos that you can wear while you quietly take the obsession and turn into a full-fledged Goth.
Works wonders to give you that Baby bat charm look even on normal shirts and T-shirts. You don’t have to splurge that way. You can throw these off on your regular clothes to give it a more edgy look if you want to. Of course, the makeup can complement you well to.

Buying and wearing a corset may be a little bit hard? not all of us wake up a day and be like, “Hey! I’ll go full Victorian today!” and rock the “You bring the corsets” song (I swear to God, I know how problematic the song is). It takes patience to master it. So, I suggest you get your hands on a corset belt first that will ease your journey into buying a corset.
Another common piece of clothing that can be in your wardrobe regardless of you being a former Goth or not. Let me tell ya, leather pants go with almost anything you require them to. Yes, I agree that you may not be into the leather (vegan leather pants are an option) but try them on once with any normal piece of clothing and tell me they don’t look Goth as hell. I’ll wait.
Out of all the accessories that Goths use, the punk leather belt is in my opinion, the best for two reasons: a) I have the tiniest waist and unlike other belts, I don’t need to get extra holes punched in this to use and b) my fashion conservative mother really can’t tell me anything about it cause I’m breaking no fashion rules. So yes, if you are thinking of Goth accessories, the leather belt is one of my first picks.

- Anime Long Shirts And Hoodies
They are just the best- comfy, warm and, do not require speaking of why you’re wearing those. I said Anime because I personally own quite a few of them, but you can definitely go ahead and buy hoodies that you like, with any symbolism. There are quite a few available here.
Take your pick. I personally have both but either one are good to go. They are easy to wear and do not draw attention to you. We love the aesthetics too- here is a tip: if you are aiming to look modern, beanies work, and if vintage appeals to you, pick that fedora up.
Here are some of those things we think are where you should start. Have we missed something?
